A Seed Technologist deals with the methods of improving physical and genetic characteristics of seed. Seed technology involves activities such as variety development, evolution and release of seed varieties, seed production, processing, certification and storage.

Entry Pathway
1. Complete 10+2 in the Science stream (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)
2. Complete Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Agriculture/Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Biology or any other related subject OR
Complete Bachelor's degree followed by a Master's degree (MSc) in Seed Science and Technology
For admissions into Seed Science and Technology course, you may have to clear entrance examinations like ICAR NEEA, GATE, OUAT CUET, NPAT, GSAT, AGRICET
