A dairy technologist is a professional who is responsible for handling and management of milk, starting from production and processing right down to consumption. It includes processing, storage, packaging, transport and physical distribution. They design new, improved methods using the principles of bacteriology, chemistry, physics, engineering and economics to produce milk and milk products.
