Where will you study?
You can complete your graduation from any UGC recognised college in India Some of the barista courses available in India and abroad International • Certifications for coffee tasters are issued by the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) and Specialty Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE) • The SCAA issues two types of certificates. Licensed 'Q' grader and Licensed 'R' grader. • The 'Q' grader licence is a certificate for proficiency in evaluating Arabica coffees and the 'R' grader for proficiency in evaluating Robusta coffees • The Q Grader exam consists of 22 tests and takes 6 days to complete National • Post Graduate Diploma in Coffee Quality Management is offered by Coffee Board of India • Kaapi Shastra Training Programme on Coffee Roasting and Brewing by Coffee Board of India • Online courses offered by Espresso Academy • Araku World Specialty Coffee Academy, Bangalore

This portal has been developed under the guidance of the Department of Financial Services, (Ministry of Finance), Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Human Resource Development) and Indian Banks Association (IBA). •Some states have student credit cards with low interest rates, for instance, West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, etc. • All banks give education loans.
Where will you work?
Places of Work: Private and Public Roasting Plants, Café Chains etc
Work Environment: You will work in a roasting plant. Local travel is a part of the job profile. It is not a regular 9 to 5 job and are likely to work 5 days a week for 5 to 6 hours every day.
