An Anchor or a Presenter is a person responsible for introducing a programme or an event to a target audience. They work in entertainment programmes such as awards, music, dance and comedy shows, news, reality TV, crime stories, etc. As a host of the programme, they ensure constant engagement with the audience. They also maintain the regular flow of the programme.
