Fitter - Mechanical Assembly is trained to produce a mechanical product. Mechanical products are made up Of different sub component. These sub-component are assembled with hand tools, portable power tools, manually operated machine tools etc. as per given specifications. Along with assembling these parts fitters are expected to check the quality of the work piece using measuring equipment and as per specifications in the drawings of the objects.

Minimum Qualification
• After completion Of Class IO and With one year experience as a Fitter Fabricator or Machinist you can enrol for National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF)* course in Fitter — Mechanical Assembly
*NSQF is a nationally integrated education and competency-based framework that enables persons to acquire desired competency levels in a chosen field. NSQF includes vocational education, vocational training, general education and technical education which prepares an individual for the iob market with competent skills. An individual may return at any time to upgrade skills after gaining experience

The approx. salary of a Fitter-Mechanical Assembly with more than 3 years' experience ranges from INR 13,000 - 25,000* per month.
