An Automotive Electrician needs to assess service and repair of the electrical and the electronic parts of a vehicle. They analyse the various electrical sub-systems across the vehicle's body. Automotive Electrician are trained to repair and maintain all these parts

Entry Pathway
Minimum Qualification
• After completion of class 10 and minimum age required is 18 years old for enrolling for National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF)* Level 4 course for Automotive Electrician
OR
• You have existing certificate for NSQF* (Four Wheeler Service Assistant) with 1-2 Years Of experience you can opt for Automotive Electrician Level 4 course
• Driving License and Basic Computer skills is a requirement
OR
A Diploma in Automotive Electrical Course from Industrial Training Institute, After the ITI Electrician Course you can go for a Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Direct 2nd year) for 2 years. And after the completion of diploma you can go in for BTech/BE (2nd year ) and complete it In 3 years.

She undertook the training and now she assembles circuits for EV speedometers at a factory in Pune - her first jOb as a formal worker with fixed wages.
"l work fixed hours and I am financially independent," said Kumbhar, assembling circuits with pink-gloved fingers on an all-female shop-floor at Kinetic Communications, a manufacturer of EV Components and a subsidiary Of Indian auto-maker Kinetic Group.*
