Scheme for Financial Assistance to Sportspersons, Odisha is a skill development programme that aims to enhance the employability of sportspersons from Odisha who are willing to take up sports coaching as a career option. Under this scheme, the Government of Odisha will provide financial support to sportspersons undergoing coaching courses at the Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NSNIS), Patiala, a major centre of the Sports Authority of India (SAI).
