An Assistant Beauty Therapist is expected to know the basics of beauty therapy, health and hygiene. They provide various beauty services such as manicure, pedicure, facials and other required services. They also assist in the upkeep of the salon and other tasks including upkeep of things used, cleaning the salon, preparing items needed for treatment, check for available stocks.

Entry Pathway
Minimum Qualification • After completion of Class 8 and minimum age is 14 for enrolling in National Skill Qualification Framework* Level 3 course for Assistant Beauty Therapist
OR
• After completion of Class 10 you may enrol for NSQF Level 3 course for Assistant Beauty Therapist
*NSQF is a nationally integrated education and competency-based framework that enables persons to acquire desired competency levels in a chosen field. NSQF includes vocational education, vocational training, general education and technical education which prepares an individual for the job market with competent skills. An individual may return at any time to upgrade skills after gaining experience
