The Railway Protection Force, commonly referred to as RPF, is one of the top security forces of India. The primary job of RPF is to ensure the protection of the passengers and their properties. They also look after the safety of railway properties.

Entry Pathway
1. Complete 10 + 2 in any subject combination
2. Quality for the RPF Constable Recruitment Exam for which the minimum age limit is 18 years, while the maximum is 25.
OR
Complete a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and then clear the civil services examination (UPSC). This is for posts higher than RPF

The approx. salary of an RPF Constable ranges between INR 27900 - 31,270* per month. The approx. salary of an RPF Sub Inspector ranges between INR 43,300 - 52,030* per month. Apart from this, there are many benefits like night allowance, overtime, provident fund, gratuity etc.
